About Placement

The university’s training and placement department is powered by Rojgar Mantra and has an in-house training experts to train the students in aptitude, reasoning, spoken english, group discussion, technical, and HR interview skills. The university conducts rigorous pre-placement training programmes for students of agriculture, management, Information Technology, commerce, arts, science, education, paramedical to make them industry-ready throughout the academic year. The university also has an in-house placement platform named Rojgar Mantra, which helps students gain relevant employment opportunities. Rojgar Mantra is a medium for employers to tap into budding talent in line with their requirements. With dedicated pages for employers & employees and with a two pronged approach, Rojgar Mantra connects job seekers with potential employers and works towards streamlining job opportunities and talent development.

We have dedicated ‘Training and Placement Cell’ at Dr. C. V. Raman University. Our vision is to bridge the gap between Industry and academia. We provide training at all levels to improve the quality of students. 

All the courses at the University are designed to make the students ready to be absorbed in the market. Apart from the mandatory technical skills, it is also made sure that they acquire other qualities as well, that play an important role in climbing the career ladder with special focus on improving their soft skills. Training and Placement Cell plays this role to make students ready for industry.

VIHAN Program

• VIHAN is a campus recruitment training program which is uniquely offered by us.
• This program is designed to develop student’s skills and prepare them for the job market.
• In this program we deliver sessions on Personal Vision building, Resume writing, Group discussion.
• We also invite Industry and behaviour experts to conduct Mock Interviews.
• In VIHAN Program we also provide guidance to students for Government sector jobs.

Career Counselling

It is one of the unique features of Training and Placement cell at Dr. C. V. Raman University. In Career counselling with individual analysis, we counsel student on various career options mapping it with their current course. We help them on career exploration with their future goal.

The Counselling service of the university thus tries to understand the problems students are going through and prepares them mentally to help them fulfil their academic and personal potential.
